Airplane Export of Livestock and Game
The first step in the process is to source healthy strong animals for export. This photo shows beautiful Friesian heifers.
Once the animals are selected, they are kept in quarantine for a set period to monitor their health status.
The animals undergo the proper vaccination to prevent disease as necessary.
After the quarantine period, the animals are ready to be exported. In this photo the cattle are herded into a smaller camp to await onloading onto trucks.

The fully loaded trucks are on their way to the airport.
Once the freight of cattle arrives at the airport, their are led into transfer crates.
The crates are relocated closer to the airplane on the airplane field with forklifts.
The crates are firmly secured with strips to ensure the safety of the animals.
The airplane is ready and waiting for the onload and flight.
All the cattle are transferred from the trucks into crates and are waiting to be lifted and loaded onto the airplane.

The airplane finally landed at the destination airport and the cattle are off-loaded.
The cattle are loaded onto trucks. The floorbed of the trucks are covered with sand. This assists the cattle to have a better footing during the drive.
All the cattle have finally arrived safely at their new home.
